Amanda grew up as a dancer and athlete in Portland, OR and has always had an appreciation for the way the body moves and what it can accomplish. As a Theater major at Seattle’s Cornish College of the Arts she continued to explore the facilities of the body in relation to the creation of believable characters. After graduating she went on to New York City. While pursuing the arts she found a natural pull toward personal training as a way to make a living, working at several notable gyms included Gold’s Gym and David Barton Gym. Upon returning to the West Coast, she began performing regularly with Island Stage Left and San Juan Community Theatre. After the birth of her first child in 2013 she turned to The Studio for help regaining her fitness level and fell in love with the atmosphere and knowledgeable, friendly instructors. Now a mother of two, she couldn’t be happier to have joined The Studio family working behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly!
