Liz first discovered yoga at the age of 14, but really fell in love with it when she turned 20 years old and was taking a yoga class in college at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. She began to devote herself to the practice and soon wanted to be able to teach and share yoga with anyone she could. She will never forget the first (and last) studio she went to, a donation based studio, the goal was to have as many people doing yoga no matter what you could afford to give. She was so inspired and it soon became her favorite and regular studio. She took a 10 week intensive Vinyasa teacher training that changed her life and entire perception of the world all together. While there she studied the history of yoga, anatomy, chakras, meditation, modifications, posture, yoga therapy, prop usage, holistic health and much more. She finished the training in the Fall of 2016 and started teaching at her favorite studio directly following. Not too long after she received her certificate in teaching Yin yoga as well. Aside from yoga, she loves nature and being outdoors and is an avid hiker and professional at sitting and watching the waves and whales. She has worked with children for almost ten years including being a site director for Before and After Cares in Colorado as well as a preschool teacher. She is a huge animal lover and helps run an animal sanctuary with her boyfriend's family. If you have any interest in yoga, it is for every body and everyone! Liz asks that you feel free to come and try a class or come and ask her anything and get your body moving!
