When Sharalyn was three, she awoke one morning and coined the phrase, “Today is today, let’s go.” And that has been her mantra ever since. She began dancing ballet when she was three. And if she was not dancing, she was playing basketball, tennis, or running. After college, she craved activity. So Sharalyn ran the NYC marathon and dipped heavily into Hatha yoga with a particular interest in Ashtanga. With a BA, majoring in Biology and a love for women’s issues, she spent 8 years working in women’s healthcare. During her last few years managing a medical clinic, she acquired her MBA from UC Irvine. Because she finished business school the same weekend she had her first baby, she did not return to the workplace but chose to be a stay at home mom. While she stopped working for not-for-profits and corporate America, she never stopped moving her body. Movement is essential to a healthy and happy life and she is committed to teaching movement and inspiring others to use it to change their life. Currently, Sharalyn holds certifications in BASI Pilates, Bootybarre Plus, Bootybarre Flex and Flow, TRX, The TRX Rip Trainer, Indo-Row, Piloxing, Piloxing Knockout, and PIYO.
